Christ was a female is beyond-real cutting poetry. It is implicit in its title the attempt of overcrossing reality’s conventional barriers throughout itself’s scratching, by surface’s demolition, common sense’s debasement, along imperfect conscience’s rails.
It is about a voyage into a rational dreaminess, into a manic lucidity, symbolic reality-soaked. These short verses’ characters take a leap towards meta-reality with the conscious stare of those who want to call upon themselves and their own ghosts. So the “matter of self”. The rebel alter ego in eidetic or ectoplastic shapes, reclusive and dreamily alive, permeates the rhythm and the sense. Inconstant dreams, cynicisms, cruelties, contradictions hoping to lead to reflection.

The natural elements change their colours and absorb human forces and features. The goal is creating a veiled rhythm of irony and interlocking meta-thoughts according to observation’s cogent logic. The daily deed, actually, is the element stories’ driving starts from, spring-board towards cosmic realities from impoverished bases. The systematical crossing between what is harshly sensitive and what is desirably beyond warms the reader at doubt’s fire with evident tendencies aiming at disrupting ordinariness which is often more absurd  than absurdity

Even the authoress sets herself into the situation of an apprentice rather than a teacher, of the one who has doubts instead of certainties. And her goal will be got, provided even only one reader lets circulate a green edge of doubt into his head. Anti-poetry poetry, then, in the perspective of an overturning of common sense, the one that believes nothingness is inexistent and being is only what his or her narrow mind gave being’s label to. A debated ontology, a perspective aiming at reflecting about logic’s illogicality. A text answering the  trite and erroneously taken for granted question: “It is logical, isn’t it?” with a neat and clean negation because every creative thought’s root hides just into what is illogical.

“Mirandarte” is a young and dynamic collection, open to experimental rhythms, neologisms, poetry going beyond landscape’s nineteenth-century contemplation, to smash standards and provide different and original rhythms.
