Copper line engraving on paper, by BURNET, John, (1784-1868) : BUCKINGHAM HOUSE, (THE PALACE OF HER MAJESTY QUEEN CHARLOTTE.) ST. JAMES’S PARK 1810.

London : Vernor, Hood & Sharpe, 1810. A charming antique print – skating on the ice (not without mishap) near Buckingham Palace, onlookers light a fire. Drawn and engraved by the Scottish artist John Burnet. Originally produced for the part-work “Beauties of England and Wales” (1801-1816).
Copper line engraving on paper. Engraved surface 116 x 155mm (approx. 4-5/8″ x 6-1/8″). Very good and clean state.
