The exhibition is part of the gallery’s ongoing program dedicated to showcasing contemporary art and supporting both emerging and established artists.
The show takes place within the gallery space in Hatfield and offers visitors the opportunity to explore a diverse range of artworks presented in a shared exhibition context. The selection includes paintings, mixed media works, and other visual practices that reflect the variety of contemporary artistic production today.
“Outrageous Exhibition!” is introduced with a clear curatorial statement: “don’t attend if I do not wish to be shocked”, accompanied by a content warning indicating that some works may include potentially disturbing themes. The exhibition encourages visitors to engage critically with the artworks while maintaining an open interpretation of the different artistic languages presented.
Among the participating artists is Mary Blindflowers, who presents a painting addressing the theme of femicide through a symbolic and expressive visual language. Her work is included within the group exhibition as part of a broader dialogue on contemporary social issues, identity, and representation. The piece contributes to the overall diversity of perspectives featured in the show.
The exhibition brings together a balanced combination of conventional and more conceptual artistic approaches, reflecting the current landscape of contemporary art. Each artist contributes individually to the collective experience of the exhibition, allowing for multiple interpretations and visual dialogues within the gallery space.
